For cruise-liners & ferries, the SOLAS 1983 regulation is prescribing Partially Enclosed LifeBoats with access from the deck. To comply with, ACEBI designed Gravity davits, trackway or pivoting systems and Accumulated Energy davits which have a small height with a very low center of gravity & occupying a reduced space. ACEBI propose also Rescueboats davits & Liferafts davits.
